Pacific Spirit Voices is an acappella chorus attracting singers from across the Lower Mainland. We sing songs old and new, in unaccompanied 4 part harmony.
Since 1957, this chorus is all about that special combination of musical excellence, fellowship and fun, with all voices welcome.
We rehearse at Grace Lutheran Church, Burnaby BC
🎵 Attend a rehearsal as a guest. You can contact us to let us know in advance that you are coming.
📍 We rehearse at Grace Luthuran Church in Burnaby, about 10 minute walk from Metrotown, and Royal Oak Skytrain Station.
🚗 Parking is available on site.

What music do we sing?
Our songs are in four parts, with an easily singable melody carried by the 🧔 LEAD singer whose vocal range is similar to that of tenor in most mixed choirs. The 👩 TENOR harmonizes above the lead and the 🧔 BASS below the lead. The 👴 BARITONE adds the 4th part, above or below the lead as needed.
Our arrangements use mostly consonant chords which produce harmonies that LOCK AND RING 🎶. We use few jazz voicings and almost no dissonance.

Can you carry a tune?
• Our chorus is composed of both Male and Female voices
•.We welcome singers of All Ages
• We have members from various nationalities, including non-native English speakers
•No need to read music, however ability to read music will be beneficial. We provide learning tracks to allow you to pick up the music quickly

🎄 Retirement Facility Private Concerts: A short early evening concert is a delightful way for your residents to unwind. At their tables over dessert or a few minutes after dinner in your nearby lounge, your guests will be singing along, remembering the good old days and heading off to bed happy!
